The superband Elegant Weapons, led by Judas Priest guitarist Richie Faulkner and the amazing vocalist Ronnie Romero are one of the latest stellar additions to the line-up of Rock Imperium Festival 2023. “Horns For A Halo” is the title of their debut album, which will be released this Spring via Nuclear Blast Records and we couldn’t be any more excited, thrilled and stoked to see what this impressive bunch of musicians will deliver to Cartagena’s stages next Summer, specifically on Sunday 25th June in company of other big names like KISS, Skid Row or The Winery Dogs.
But that’s not all left to be said! In addition to the Elegant Weapons powerhouse, the Japanese act MELT4 have also joined the festival. This young band has just unleashed their powerful debut full-length “Four” (2022) a month ago, after having collaborated with the legendary Japanese guitarist Sheja on their single “Fire” in the same year. Thanks to MELT4, Rock Imperium takes an unexpected and exciting turn towards the distant country of the rising sun, which we hope will continue to happen in the following editions of the festival.
Viking metal will have their own ambassadors in the face of the Finnish Midjungars, who will disembark in Cartagena following the steps of last year’s Litha Night.
Finally, because of schedule reasons, Misery Index will be playing on Sunday 25th and Leo Jiménez will perform on Friday 23rd.
Remember, during the days 23rd, 24th and 25th June 2023 the biggest metal rock party in all the Levant area will take place, with full shows of huge bands like Helloween, Blind Guardian, Europe, Deep Purple, Europe or KISS…the later of them will play their exclusive farewell Spanish date! On top of that, this event will take place in a unique city like Cartagena, an impressive thousand-year-old port city. LONG LIFE! SEE YOU THERE!
